1 kg of minced beef
3 bread buns (stuck together)
1 red onion
1 yellow pepper
2 tablespoons of sugar
3 slices of cheddar
- Cut the onion and pepper in slices and cook them in a bit of olive oil on low heat for 1 hour.
- In the meantime, mix the meat with salt, pepper and olive oil. Do three large balls of minced meat and place them in the oven at 220°C for 30 mn.
- Add the sugar in another pan and heat until it becomes caramel. Add the meatballs in the caramel and roll them until well covered for 10 minutes.
- Cut the buns in half, add the meatballs, cheddar, onion and pepper mix.
