Salted butter caramel is a traditional recipe from Bretagne, France. It is great as a dip with ginger cookies or to add a twist to cakes, crepes, pancakes, etc.

  • 100g of sugar
  • 15cl single cream
  • 50g salted butter

Make it: 

  • Put the sugar in a pan on low heat and cook until it gets a nice brown colour. Remove from the fire and stir slowly.
  • Add the cream and butter and mix well.
  • Put the caramel in a small pot.
  • Enjoy!
